Developing QEYS Reserve for customer deployment
The development program connects storage performance to the operating requirements of a data-center site. The milestones below describe the evidence needed before wider deployment.
- 01
Storage validation
Measure usable fuel delivery, repeatability, and operating requirements under a defined duty cycle.
- 02
Integrated prototype
Test the reserve with power conversion and a battery, including startup, transitions, and loss of the primary supply.
- 03
Partner pilot
Demonstrate a specific customer use case and independently review delivered performance and emissions.
- 04
Deployment qualification
Use the pilot evidence to establish equipment qualification, economics, manufacturing, and service requirements.
These are proposed stages, not completed milestones or committed delivery dates.
The gas integration path will be tested in stages.
Start with separate reserve conversion alongside normal site supply. Evaluate useful heat recovery without compromising outage independence. Consider a shared engine only after the fuel interface and switching behavior are qualified.
Review the engineering pathway →Equipment deployment and ongoing service
The proposed commercial model combines equipment deployment with fuel replenishment, maintenance, and operating support. A customer pilot will establish the service requirements and delivered economics before that model expands to further sites.
